3D mobile game drives footfall in-store
Client: Everything Everywhere
Brief: Working closely with agency partners Motivaction, we were asked to create a BlackBerry app to help Everything Everywhere launch their new stores nationwide.
Insight: Developed for the BlackBerry 9900 device, we developed a 3D game using the flexibility of OpenGL. As well as capturing data to help with competition entry, we created an Augmented Reality element to reveal the prize and draw users into the store to collect it.
Delivery: Armed with the app, brand ambassadors challenged passers-by to try the game and use it to enter a competition to win a £5,000 holiday to the destination they’d chosen during play. The Augmented Reality reveal at the end of the game directed users in-store to collect a smaller prize for entering, increasing footfall dramatically.
