SPAIN
Real Sociedad are looking to regain exclusive possession of the Spanish league when they visit Celta Vigo, who have lost four of their five home games this season. Sociedad have been unbeaten for nine consecutive league games, with six wins and three draws, including 2-2 against defending champions Atlético Madrid on Sunday. He hasn’t lost in 12 consecutive matches in all competitions, with his only loss coming in the opener against Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium. Atlético can return to the top with a victory for Levante, one of two teams yet to win this season with Getafe, who visit Granada threatened with relegation.
ITALY
After losing their first points of the season in Rome last weekend, Napoli will look to get back on their way to victory against Bologna. The victory would see Napoli return to the level of Serie A leaders AC Milan. Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti will watch from the stands as he received a red card after the final whistle in Rome as the referee deemed his applause ironic, despite the coach’s fervent protests, he was genuine. Bologna have won only one of their last six games, but it was an impressive 3-0 victory over Lazio and it pushed Milan through the weekend, despite playing with nine men, before two late goals saw him lose 4-2.
